DON’T LEAVE A MARK FOR DISTRACTION!

You’re a web designer and you spend multiple hours of your everyday for a project which is to stir public interest in your client’s company somehow; and you never want the visitor to enjoy the style and figure of your web page just to be distracted halfway by social media icons on the top of your page. There goes your homework. The visitor no longer remembers you and probably is surfing on his twitter now. Be careful and better place those icons on the bottom of your page.   

However, adding animation, illustrations, style to your project web design is NOT the only thing that will make way for you. There are other technical skills which benefits you in short term and long term projects as well. If you’re a web designer ready to take projects then there are a few skills you should be fluent in. 

  • You should know what HTML and CSS or how styles and colors, fonts are controlled by code.
  • Having learned HTML & CSS, be more competitive by knowing about JavaScript. 
  • Moreover, if you sit and start working and you come across a server issue which is not part of your job but still it has you stuck in the middle of nowhere. The server and downtime issues are inevitable which you could fix, having a little information about the webserver.

Websites should be technically sound and beautiful at the same time. It should leave a mark on visitors by how pretty it looks but the success goes far beyond the idea of just a nice look. Your visitor needs to find the desired object. Help them find what they came from in no time, and bless yourself with nice reviews! and yeah, more future projects.
